About Uriah
I'm a software engineer who believes good software makes life easier. By day I build machine vision systems, AI pipelines and web platforms — software that inspects things people can't see, automates things people shouldn't do by hand, and gets out of the way.
I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, and I've made my way from Chattanooga to Atlanta to Lexington, Kentucky, where I live now with my wife and two kids.
Off the clock I'm a serial hobbyist: cooking, brewing, keeping bees, gardening, bonsai, fishing, and tinkering with whatever's next. Most of it ends up on the blog. I also serve on the board of Taraloka, a nonprofit.
